Here, type inferencing means that even though you are not specifying the types on one side, the compiler is still able to infer i.e. determine the type by looking at the other side of the assignment operation.

Can you tell which part is not clear? The diamond operator makes the compiler inference the type of the object. The explanation to the second option explains this. The question is basically just asking you to rewrite the line of code using the diamond operator.
