About Question enthuware.ocpjp.v7.2.1430 :
The variables in the options are local and not initialized, why would you provide incorrect code. This leads to confusion.

Re: About Question enthuware.ocpjp.v7.2.1430 :
1. The question is only asking about syntactically correct usage of assertions. So you don't really need to worry about variables being un initialized.
2. The code in the method is not complete code as indicated by ... in the middle of the method. This implies there is some code there, which is not shown because it is irrelevant to the question. This code may very will initialize the variables. But again, that is not relevant to the question because the question is clearly asking about a specific thing, which is identifying syntactically correct usage of assertions.
HTH,
Paul.
