Explanation says

Servlet 3.0 specification does not include @RolesAllowed annotation in the list of supported annotations.

What about this one?

The link that you've given is not the specification.
As the explanation says, please see Section 15.5 of Servlet 3.0 specification. It says,
"Following are the annotations that are required by a Java EE technology compliant web container...."
This list does not contain RolesAllowed.
