Passed 1Z0-803, need help with 1Z0-804 preparation

Dear admin,

I just passed the 1Z0-803 today. I 'd like to share my experience with everyone.
My score: 83, average enthuware test score: 75. I have not any professional Java experience, had taken some Java courses in school in 2009. Last time I programmed was 2011 in Python, PHP. It took me 2 months studying part time. My test prep material was all enthuware and 2 Java books + the internet.
I finished the real test and had 25 minutes to double check my marked questions. Personally, I think the real test is easier than enthuware tests. I could have done a lot better if I can remember more (I do not have good memory).
Thank you admin and all the users with answers and questions =). I couldn't have done it w/o you guys.

I am going for the 1Z0-804 exam and already purchased the enthuware test prep for that exam.
For this exam, I will need to install a few things:
1/ Either Java DB or MySQL
2/ Apache Ant
3/ Apache Xalan
I am wondering you could help explain the pros & cons between Java DB & MySQL. Also I would appreciate if you could point me to any additional prep book for this exam, material/installation guide for the database and Apache server.

Congratulations on passing!
From exam perspective, using MySQL might be more of a hassle. JavaDB is simple, very easy to use, and is bundled with IDEs such as NetBeans. This saves time. I would recommend JavaDB for that reason. Other than that, there is not much of a difference (from exam POV).

Ant and Xalan are not required for 804.

I was looking at a wrong exam, Ant & Xalan should not be in the 804 exam topics.
