It is just a simple search in the topic field. 2.25 matches with 2.257. It has nothing to do with the app as such. One can create a new topic with the new question id if the search is not a perfect match.

And as i checked, the "About Question.." beginning is case sensitive in the search

Actually, behind the scenes, it is an Sql like query i.e. where topic like %qid%
