I need help in preparation for the Java exam "1Z0-813 Upgrade to Java SE 8 OCP ( Java SE 6 and all prior versions)", If any one has recently cleared the exam
Please share your experience and guidelines for preparation.

I just passed the 1z0-813 exam this afternoon - 86%

About the questions:
What I noticed is that questions on the Stream API came more often than the other subjects.
So the question were most frequently on Stream, then on either concurrency or function API, and then the rest. Also there were a few tough questions on generics.
All Stream questions had lambdas in them of course.

BTW it seems to me that the expected answer for whether findAny on a sequential stream will return indeed the same value as findFirst is yes. (in practice it is the case even though the javadoc explicitly says it should be considered undeterministic)

Preparation
I have been using java8 since 1year and a half. Then to swallow the knowledge specifically for the certification took me about 6 weeks ~ 4 hours per day - to be honest I was expecting I would have been done 4 times faster

I bought the book Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 8 Programmer II Study Guide: Exam 1Z0-809 - Sybex, the book is a bit long to read, but otherwise I was satisfied. For the 1z0-813 u are supposed to read most of the book (except 3 chapters),plus the section specially for 1z0-813. It also comes with some online question tests which are quite good, I would say similar quality as enthuware's. It had quite a few typos and a couple of questions with wrong answers but not much.

I bought the 1Z0-813 question banks from enthuware. I was very satisfied with it.

Lastly i also bought the Kaplan's test last week ( Upgrade to Java SE 8 OC) which has a link on the oracle certification page but I have to say the quality is not good. My impression is that about 10% of the questions had errors, either in the explanation or in the expected answer, which is way too much. I send them a few remarks but I had no answer.
