Concerning number of questions in tests and exam
Hi. I've got the web access for Java17 (1Z0-829), but I noticed that most tests have 55 questions, while the real exam has 50. Is there any particular reason for that? Thanks

Re: Concerning number of questions in tests and exam
1. Sometimes oracle adds a few extra questions in the test, which are unmarked. Meaning, your answer on those questions do not count towards your final score. They do this to test new questions.
2. We add new questions from time to time but they may not be sufficient in number to create a full new test. So we add them to existing test. The time for the test is increased proportionately.
Due to the above two reasons the number of questions in our mock tests may be a bit more than the desired number.

Hi leandrocm86! It's common for practice tests to have more questions to provide a broader range of topics and help with preparation. The real exam may have fewer questions to focus on key concepts. Just ensure you're comfortable with all the material covered in both formats. Good luck with your studies!
