Hi,

I am currently running some tests for 1Z0-804 exam. I am wondering if this tests are harder than the ones from the real exam? Because I am learning for almost 2 months now (more in weekends, because of my job) and this is my situation:

I have completed all the 8 exams after reading a book and failed them all. That freaked me out. After that I have read another book, much more well written and now I have started over again the tests and I am passing them with an average of 73%. I don't remember the questions, maybe one-two per exam. Do you think it's a real passing score, giving the fact that I take the tests for the second time? If I pass them all with the same score, is it safe to go to the exam?

Ideally, after failing one test, you should not attempt the second one without going through a book and writing some code. If you fail the second test as well, then that suggests a problem in the way you are studying. Failing 8 tests in a row tells me that you are relying a lot more on question/answers as instead of a book a mode of learning .

Anyway, relying on second attempt scores is very dangerous. You may think that you don't remember the questions and answers anymore but our experience in such cases suggests otherwise. That is why I am not comfortable in saying that it is safe to go to the exam.

I would suggest you to try some other mock exams (from books) that you haven't seen before and see how you score. This score will be a lot better indicator of your preparation.
