Is reduction always terminal?

Well, what does a reduction operation do? Does it return a stream? Can you chain further stream operations after getting results from a reduction operation?

Yeah I'm aware it seems like an obvious question (or rather a question with an obvious answer) and I had considered that, but this whole exam is full of if A and B and C then X except when D and NOT E, in which case you have Y, but if you compile with flag blah-de-blah and there's a J in the month it can happen that Z is the case and your code won't compile.
