This question is very vague. It's not clear what is being asked and even the explanation is not great.
I think it should explicitly say at the outset:

Assuming SimpleInterface & ComplexInterface are interfaces and ComplexClass is a class. Which of the following options...

The purpose of the question is to make you aware that some questions in the exam might require you to make logical/reasonable assumption. This is what the explanation tries to convey as well.

Some users have reported similar question in the exam and that is why we have kept it in the simulator.
