The questions asks about JSTL snippet (... which of the given JSTL code snippet ...) but correct answer contains not only JSTL snippet but also EL expression.

This looks a little bit misleading...

Also in the explanation section <,> and & chars are not escaped where they must be.
For example: ... a > will be encoded to > and so on...
