Just a note about explanation – as Servlet 3 technology relies on Java EE 6

The Java Servlet API v.3.0 is a required API of the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition, v.6.

it would be better if the link in explanation would refer newer version's Javadoc:

http://docs.oracle.com/javaee/6/api/javax/servlet/http/HttpServlet.html
