IMHO, statements do contradict each other.
A MDB associated with a single Queue. - if this is correct
Two MDBs associated with a single Queue. - this can't be incorrect.
I.e. if MDB A should be associated with queue Q, then MDB B should be associated with queue Q as well.
Therefore specs do require such support.

No, the specification does not require that a container must allow two MDB to be associated with the same queue.
