For chapter 12 of JSR 318 , I don't see any specification saying that aroundInvoke method runs in the same transaction context of the business method.

It is implicit. If you look at tables such as the one in 4.6.1, you will see that business method interceptor methods are always clubbed with the business method. They have the same scope as the business method.
The specification doesn't say anywhere that they are executed in a different transaction context either.
