It's a very important new Oracle Test. Should not Enthuware be at the forefront of the market?

Note that this certification is like having all the other EE certifications rolled into one and more (Additional topics are the batch, concurrency, and websocket).
This will definitely take time before they can release a mock exam.

Enthuware doesn't even have mock exam for the JSF Developer exam and that's because of the demand.
I'm telling you this exam will have overlapping topic with the other EE certifications that I find it NOT worth it to take if you have those other certifications.
Plus the sheer amount of time needed to be able to study and cover those topic will definitely take a long time. Forget about reviewing for this certification in 3 months. You'll just come out half baked in the end.

I suggest go for the other EE certifications as they are focused on specific technologies and thus will provide you with better insights on those technologies. And after that if you still want to take this exam then you will have an easier time because you already covered much of the topic.
But by then you'll probably realize that this certification is just a review of what you already took.

This certification is for Java EE 7, we are already in version EE 8, and by next year we will have production grade Jakarta EE specs which is the successor of Java EE. I don't know if Oracle will still provide certifications for that since Eclipse is now the steward for all Java EE related specs. Maybe Eclipse will provide its own certifications who knows. So in short if you do decide to take any Java EE Oracle certs it's automatically obsolete.

This all is my opinion by the way.
If you see yourself handling Java EE 7 related techs for the foreseeable future then by all means follow your heart and take this exam.

this test is indeed a new program, but Java EE7 is not. And Java EE 8 also is there.

Then, the demand becomes is here e we are very interesting for this.

Independelty Eclipse has become the new holder of the spec, Oracle still keeps Java under his umbrella.

The problem is that all other EE certificates would retire in couple months (on 31 march 2019), so as for now this is the only available EE exam in future.

Sorry, I'm very happy about the answer of admin. I have only a request of suggestions: there aren't exam guide about this exam (1Z0-900).
I have only two exams (1Z0-808 and 1Z0-809), so it will be my first exam about Java EE - Web Development.
Please, can you suggest me the books to prepare 1Z0-900?
