First, the software has been fantastic. In regards to the Java OCA exam, the version I studied most likely played the biggest part in my passing of that exam. I have a complaint about the ETS file version for the Java OCP ( 1Z0-809 ) though. More than half of the questions I have personally encountered seem to lead to empty forum pages after selection of the "Discuss*" option. So far, I am mostly covering the Objective-wise Tests. I think the Foundation Test possessed the same issue. The same thing happens whether in Windows or Linux.
I apologize if this has already been brought to attention. A quick glance didn't show such.

Re: The "Discuss*" Option on the ETS File for 1Z0-809
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to know that you liked our s/w.
Regarding, "empty forum pages", do you mean you see no discussion for these questions? Or do you mean a discussion exists for that question but you are still prompted to start a new topic (If you see a star ( *) in front of the Discuss button in ETS Viewer for a question, that means someone has already posted something on that question i.e. a discussion exists for that question. )
If it is the first, then it is ok. A discussion can be shown only if it already exists. If you have a query, you can post it by starting a new topic. Other people will then be able to see a star for that question.
If it is the second, that is a bug. Please let me know a question id for which you had this issue and I will investigate it.
HTH,
Paul.

Correct, I see no discussion when the ETS Viewer re-directs to this web site. It brings up a standard log-in page instead, when it happens.admin wrote: Regarding, "empty forum pages", do you mean you see no discussion for these questions? The following links match the question IDs correctly. I have yet to try a "clean" install, which I suppose I could complete by deleting the data folder. I didn't want to lose track of the "Marked" questions how ever. I think I may test that out.admin wrote: Please let me know a question id for which you had this issue and I will investigate it.

Re: The "Discuss*" Option on the ETS File for 1Z0-809
OK, I figured out the issue.
You are being redirected to the create topic page because the forum does not actually have any existing topic with the questionid enthuware.ocpjp.v8.2.1334. It does have an existing topic for enthuware.ocpjp.v7.2.1334.
ETS Viewer knows that question 2.1334 is same in v7 and v8 and since there is an existing discussion for enthuware.ocpjp.v7.2.1334, it shows a star even for enthuware.ocpjp.v8.2.1334. This is correct behavior.
However, the page that redirects a user to an appropriate topic did not have this mapping. So even though there is an existing topic with enthuware.ocpjp.v7.2.1334, it did not redirect you to that topic. It redirected you to post new topic page, which requires a user to be logged it.
I have now updated it and you should now be redirected correctly.
thank you for your feedback!
Paul.
Note - the urls that you have posted above will still not work but if you open a question in ETS Viewer and click on the discuss button, it will take you to the existing topic.
