i think that proper answer should be changed a little bit. More accurate would be "Both the methods, method1 and method2, may be invoked by a client with active transaction and no exception will be thrown." There is no transaction for both methods when attribute is set to NOT_SUPPORTED(caller's transaction is suspended) so "Both the methods, method1 and method2, may be invoked within a transaction and no exception will be thrown." is not correct.
